A man falls in love while studying in Chandigarh, in spite of his wedding being arranged to another woman.
Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta starrer much awaited Punjabi movie Qismat was launched last week and it had the fifth best weekend at the box office for any Punjabi film launched.
After making the audience attached with the Qismat song, Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta have come up with the full movie drama.
One of the reasons for the hype around the movie “Qismat” has been the quality of the soundtrack, and this the new track from the film “Dholna” certainly does live up to the quality of the whole soundtrack. B Praak… the vocalist and the producer of the tune, really does pull on the heart strings.
If you were not in a dukhi mood prior to listening to this you may well be after. You have been warned.
The whole story moves around how Shive and Bani meet each other, what goes on between them, w
hat makes them move apart from each other and what might be their end, Qismat justifies its meaning of its title and how fate drives the story of these two souls. The story moves around so smoothly, taking inspiration from every day characters, from every day happenings, and how relationships develop and end.
Regarding the acting skills of both the actors and their chemistry, well, without doubt, both of them have excelled by being into their characters. For not even a single second will one feel bored of the presence of Ammy and Sargun who take most of the screen space.
From story to its songs, each and every moment of the latest flick makes the audience go wow.
Directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, who has debuted as a director with this film, Qismat revolves around t
iny little aspects of human life and how they have been so well incorporated into a movie. A story which is so well-woven, so well brought to action, it is definitely going to be one of Sidhu’s masterpieces. His flawless direction has got a feather added to his writer’s cap.
A presentation of Shri Narottam Ji Production, unsurprisingly, has blown our minds and hearts and we cannot just stop thinking about the story.
